I’m a French-British jazz singer and I’ve released my second album with the US label Dot Time Records. It’s called Deep Blue Love and has started to receive a fair amount of praise (reviews including a London Jazz News article). It’s a sextet recording with major musicians such as Darryl Hall (Dianne Reeves, Carmen Lundy, Ravi Coltrane), the legendary John Betsch (Archie Shepp, Steve Lacy, Mal Waldron…) and the great saxophonist and flutist T.K. Blue who was musical director with Randy Weston for 25 years. I’ve chosen very melodic songs with catchy grooves, mostly by composers rarely covered by singers (Pat Metheny, Wayne Shorter, Carmen Lundy). I’ve also featured some of my originals, which were arranged by T.K Blue and Oliver Hutman (who played with Roy Hargrove as well as Charles Aznavour, Clifford Jordan or Denise King).
